There is excellent snorkeling, reef, wreck and SCUBA Diving in the waters around Carriacou. Unspoiled and uncrowded dive sites are available for all experience levels. Many of the best sites are adjacent to Mabouya Island, which is part of the SIOMPA Marine Park and just a mile or so from Las Tortugas. The wrecks of the Westsider and Boris, both former ocean going tugs, lie in 90 ft. just off Mabouya Island , and the smaller wreck of the Rose rests in the shallow waters of Tyrrel Bay. Jack-A-Dan Island to the north, and The Sisters Rocks to the west offer other great diving opportunities, all within sight of the Villa.

There are several Dive shops on Island, and we recommend Lumbadive PADI 5-Star Dive Resort in nearby Tyrrel Bay, a five minute drive from Las Tortugas. Owners/DiveMasters Richard and Diane are bilingual (English/French), and very helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. Lumbadive offers PADI Certified training, Equipment Rental, Beginner to Advanced Dive Packages (including Nitrox), and Accommodation Options.
